St Johns County Board of Commissioners Candidate Forum
The Palm Valley Community Association and the Ponte Vedra Community Association invite you to the PVCA Candidate Forum, featuring local candidates running for Districts 2 and 4 of the St. Johns County Board of Commissioners.
The PVCA Candidate Forum is a nonpartisan event, ensuring a fair and balanced discussion. Our moderator will lead the process, and community members can hear the candidates answer questions and present their position on issues of interest to St. Johns County voters.
Please note: This year’s primary contest is OPEN TO ALL VOTERS, of any party affiliation. SJC Commissioners are elected by all voters, not by district.

The PVCA Candidate Forum will feature the St. Johns County Commissioner candidates for Districts 2 and 4. All County Commissioner seats are elected countywide. All registered voters are eligible to vote for these candidates. The event will be held in the Contemporary Worship room at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Our Moderator:
Dr. Sean Freeder
Dr. Sean Freeder is an Professor of Political Science at the University of North Florida. He received his PhD in American Politics from UC Berkeley and specializes in American political psychology, with research focuses on polarization, public opinion, and voting behavior. He also serves as the Director of the UNF Public Opinion Research Lab, ranked as one of the top survey centers in the United States.
